Educators:

We would like you to consider the Chana School Museum as a destination for your next field trip. We offer simulated school sessions year around for elementary school children. We provide a simulation classroom experience, hands on archeology, colonial penmanship with nibs, historical games, nature study, and much more.

Curriculum and activities are generated from materials obtained from 1800s texts and teacher documentation. A day at the Chana School is planned with your input as to what you have been studying or would like the students to experience. We will make a visit to your school prior to your field trip to introduce your students to the activities we have planned.

Our fee is $5 per student which we believe is a small fee for an all day field trip.

Our docents are mainly retired teachers, who love sharing their knowledge of old schools with the students.
